The UK Government published the UK Innovation Strategy in July 2021, setting out its vision to make the UK a global hub for innovation by 2035 and to turn the UK into a science superpower.
The Innovation Strategy comes at a time of significant change. The UK continues to grapple with the consequences of Covid-19 and has experienced its largest economic disruption since the Second World War. The National Centre for Universities and Business has produced a briefing note usefully summarising the Strategy and pinpoints what it might mean for university and business collaboration.
