Discovery and technology are transforming the global economy, driven by world leading, innovative universities and business around the UK. However, progress and impact is harmed by challenging financial pressures and changing priorities.

To remain competitive in an advanced international market, a bold new plan is required. UK universities and businesses need to be at its heart.

NCUB calls on the next Government to deliver for UK innovation by committing to a long-term Industrial Strategy, becoming more competitive in the global R&D market, and developing the workforce skills needed for future success.
