New ways to find project partners

Durham University Business School is a progressive, multi-disciplinary, and vibrant business school with a global reputation and one of an elite group of institutions worldwide accredited by all three major business school accreditation bodies: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.

Business projects are a key component of their MBAs and they wanted to optimise the process of sourcing them - aiming for projects that are not only academically rigorous but also closely aligned with real-world industry needs.

Oliver Ruether, Business Relations Manager, at Durham University Business School said:

“Konfer played a pivotal role by providing a robust platform that streamlined our interactions with industry partners from initial outreach to project completion. The platform facilitated a seamless connection with a diverse array of companies, simplifying the process of identifying suitable project opportunities. Its intuitive interface allowed us to showcase our academic strengths and project capabilities effectively, thereby attracting interest and collaboration from a wide range of industries.

“From our perspective, Konfer has transformed the way we approach project sourcing and management. Its comprehensive suite of features has not only simplified administrative tasks but also elevated the quality and relevance of our MBA projects. By providing students with opportunities to tackle real-world business challenges in a structured and supported environment, Konfer has significantly enriched their learning experiences and prepared them for future professional endeavours.

“In conclusion, Konfer has become an indispensable tool for Durham University Business School, enabling us to forge stronger partnerships with industry and deliver impactful business education. We continue to be impressed by its capabilities and look forward to further leveraging its strengths to innovate and excel in our academic and industry collaborations.”
