About the event
The Expo showcases the work undertaken by students during their summer placements through a series of poster presentations. It provides an opportunity to see the outcomes of placement projects, hear directly from students about their experiences, and recognise the impact that supervisors and host organisations have had on their professional development.
This year, 77 students completed industry and research placements and will be presenting their projects. The event offers a fascinating insight into the wide range of work being undertaken across the SEPnet network, spanning research, technology, engineering, data science, finance, defence, and many other sectors.
Alongside the student poster sessions, the Expo will feature:
Employer exhibitor stands
A careers panel featuring professionals from a range of sectors
Networking opportunities with students, academics, employers, and careers teams
